Whenever I look at my sweet little mama's hunched over back, I am more convinced than ever the need for children to learn Pilates. Had Mom been exposed to Pilates at a young age and maintained its principles she would not have chronic back issues at 85.

Too, I have had the blessed opportunity to watch my grandsons embrace Pilates. When I give their parents private lessons, they get to learn one new exercise before the lesson begins. What fun. And it's amazing to see how quickly they grasp the concepts of Pilates.

Pilates is a beautiful language to be learned. We know that children learn new languages much more quickly than adults. So it only stands to reason that now is the time for your children to jump into Pilates and play, play, play!
